I think, "Please turn off your cell phones" is becoming an universal opening for all American religious services.

Its been widely use I guess.
Even, we have a signboard like this..
"God's call much more important than the cell phone call"
and not just americans ;)
and d o u know this one...mobile is ringing..a man hangs up his mob and says: talk to you later, am in a second raq3a...
